Underwriters, Inc. and it's affiliate, Middle Atlantic Electrical
Inspections, Inc. have been providing quality, multi-faceted
construction inspections and plan review services on behalf
of municipalities and contractors within the states of
Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, West Virginia and New York
Our highly
qualified licensed/certified plan reviews and inspectors are
proficient in performing both residential building
inspections and extremely specialized inspections that are
commonly associated with industrial and/or commercial
properties. These include high rise structures and hazardous
locations. Company mandated professional standards of
competency are assured through our inspectors on-going
participation on code update seminars and continuing
education courses.
Our
company's services have been utilized by many state and
federal agencies such as the Department of Building and
Construction, Department of Transportation, NJ Department of
Defense, NJ Transit Rail Operations, Turnpike Authority and
the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Army
Corp of Engineers to name a
few.
Over the years, our inspectors have
continuously served on numerous industry related code
development organizations such as International
Association of Electrical Inspectors, National Fire
Protection Association, BOCA International, SBCCI,
Pennsylvania Building Officials Association, Commonwealth
Building Officials Association and Eastern States Building
Officials Association along with many other organizations.
Like wise, our inspectors have held many executive positions
in these organizations and will continue to do so.
